Catalonia (also known as Cataluna) is Spain's most affluent region, making it a great
place in which to invest in Spanish property. It occupies the northeast corner of Spain
between the Pyrenees and the city of Barcelona, and is an autonomous region within
Spain. Everywhere you go in Catalonia, the region's red and yellow striped flag is
proudly flown alongside the Spanish flag. The region also boasts two native
