Stretching from the Delta de l'Ebre down to Gandia in the province of Valencia is the
Costa del Azahar - Spain's biggest Costa. Size though is not everything, as the Costa
del Azahar remains relatively undeveloped along the eastern coast of Spain, especially
when compared to the popular Costa Dorada on its northern flank and the Costa
Blanca to its south. Away from the main towns in this region, long sandy beaches
unfold down the coastline - many of them quiet, even during the summer months.
Inland, the Costa is flat and dominated by groves of orange trees. All in all, if you are
looking for coastal Spanish property that is far removed from the areas of mass
tourism, then the Costa del Azahar makes for a perfect location.
Less isolated Costa del Azahar property can be found in the towns to the north and
south of Valencia. In the north, Vinaros, Benicarlo, Peniscola, Benicassim and Sagunt
are all popular resort towns and are worth investigating for availability of Spanish
property for sale. Some of these towns also have off-plan developments, providing
investors with the opportunity to purchase a villa in Spain at a reduced price. To the
south of Valencia lies the important resort developments in Gandia - currently a focus
for investors looking for good Costa del Azahar property opportunities.
