Torreblanca is a quiet Mediterranean town on the Costa del Azahar in Eastern Spain. It is located just off the main motorway that runs between Barcelona and Valencia, and is an excellent town/seaside location in which to buy Spanish property.
Torreblanca is best known outside of Spain for its seaside suburb of Torrenostra, which occupies the 3kms or so of land between Torreblanca town and the Costa del Azahar seafront. Torrenostra was originally a fishing village, but is now being developed as a centre for tourism. Several Spanish property developments are currently in construction in Torrenostra, and there are an increasing number of tourist facilities, bars and restaurants opening up in the area too.
The fine golden sands on Torrenostra Beach and the region's climate are the biggest draws for tourists to Torreblanca. During the summer temperatures max out at between 30°c - 35°c, and with a gentle sea breeze, are perfect for many a sunseeker. In the winter, the temperature rarely drops below 10°c.
Torreblanca property available for sale is mostly concentrated in the residential area of Torrenostra. Here, luxury apartments, townhouses and villas are available on newly developed sites, many offering superb views across the sea. For those in search of their dream villa in Spain, the exclusive waterfront developments in Torrenostra should be considered along with villa developments in Cabanes a little further south.
Torreblanca property for sale in the town itself is certainly more scarce than in the Torrenostra area. However, if you are looking for a town location away from the main Torrenostra complex, then you may find apartments, townhouses and chalets for sale in Torreblanca from time to time.
